Paint rich textures, eye candy blends, soft, streaky strokes and so much more, directly in Procreate!
Mimic the look, behavior and texture of real materials with the Mixed Media Lovers brush set for Procreate! Inside, you'll find 126 brushes within 4 different categories: 15 painting and smudge brushes, 75 texture stamps, 20 watercolor washes (perfect for backgrounds!) and 16 big shape texture stamps. You'll also receive a Procreate Canvas with built in, premium watercolor paper textures! Simply place your watercolor painting layers beneath the texture group and watch it come alive with saturation, fiber and organic textures. All brushes were created with authentic materials for a realistic adaptation within a digital environment.
Painting + smudge brushes include:
- Round with Soft Edges: A soft watercolor brush with built in, noticeable texture
- Round with Dark Edges: This one comes alive when used with the included canvas! Designed to mimic the denser colored edges when watercolor dries.
- Diluted Paintbrush: Built in, beautiful watercolor texture with a noticeable dilution the longer you paint with it.
- Watery Round: Salty and soft edges with a subtle texture throughout.
- Watercolor Liner: Imperfect watery monoweight liner brush, ideal for outlines and fine line detail.
- Textured Pencil: Add graphite texture or use as an outliner!
- Unsharpened pencil: a rougher, imperfect edge, great for shading or adding alternative graphite textures.
- Pro Pastel: Rough, thick and hard broken textures, ideal for shadows or obvious highlights. Use your finger with it selected as a smudge brush for more fun!
- Rough Crayon: Denser texture than the Pro Pastel, but still keep the rougher edges.
- Pro Acrylic: Beautiful, streaky smooth strokes with a slightly translucent texture.
- Dry Acrylic: Rough edges, but keep those thick and pretty acrylic strokes.
- Soft Blender: Use as a smudge brush with watercolor brushes for gorgeous blends.
- Salty Smudger: When you want to blend large areas of color more loosely/with more water and blooms.
- Watery Wash: Use as a paintbrush to create your own custom wash textures, or use as a smudge to push existing color into watery pools with a slight texture.
- Splatter Stamp: Stamp in for a small grouping of splatters or paint continuously for random area paint drips.
With countless brush combinations paired with different smudge brushes, you have the freedom to create gorgeous mixed media artwork depicting any subject in any style for original outcomes that fit with your personal aesthetic.

Brush Requirements
Procreate App
This brush set was created using v. 5.3.14, so you’ll need to be on that version or newer to use them. Procreate is currently only available on iPad.
Apple iPad
Because we utilize the pressure sensitivity of custom brushes, you’ll need to have an iPad that supports pressure sensitivity. A list of iPads that offer this are available here.
An iPad Stylus
Because we’re utilizing pressure sensitivity in the artwork we create, you’ll need a stylus that is compatible with your iPad. I recommend the Apple Pencil, but many 3rd party styluses may also work.
These brushes were designed specifically for use in Procreate (not Illustrator, or Photoshop), so they are only compatible with Procreate. An Apple Pencil was used to create and test all of the brushes. For this reason, I’m unable to guarantee the same results with other 3rd party styluses. If you’d like to test some of my free brushes for compatibility, they can be found at TuesdayMakers.com
