In this custom Acrylic Lovers brush set for Procreate, you'll find 15 painting + smudge brushes for laying your foundations and blending your textures to perfection, 48 varied acrylic stamp brushes, 9 finishing touch texture overlays and 9 bonus watercolor washes for a little mixed media magic.
Painting + smudge brushes include:
- Sketching Pencil: planning your artwork or adding graphite texture.
- Sketching Paint Marker: a denser paint brush for planning artwork or use for fine line details.
- Round Semi: dense paint with subtle streaks, mimics a round brush.
- Streaky Paint: beautiful streaky textures, the perfect painting brush (my favorite!). Works great for painting + smudging.
- Streaks: small streaks throughout, mimics a round brush. High (size) contrast strokes based on pressure.
- Streaky Mono: Monoweight paint brush (does not change size based on pressure), with lots of streaks throughout.
- Super Streaky: mimics a soft, streak filled dry brush with pressure sensitivity.
- Wet + Streaky: mimics a wet brush that's running out of paint. Inconsistent, beautiful streaks.
- Wet Bristles: a wet brush that smudges and blends while still retaining beautiful streaky textures as you paint!
- Dry Bristles: A dry brush that's running out of paint. Inconsistent, dry paint streaks.
- Texturize: Recommended to use as a smudge brush to add soft, acrylic texture splotches.
- Texturize 2: Use as a paint or smudge brush to add multiple linear acrylic strokes at once.
- Feather Smudge: Recommended to use as a smudge brush to pull small, feather-like texture out from painted areas.

Brush Requirements
Procreate App
This brush set was created using v. 5.0.1, so you’ll need to be on that version or newer to use them. Procreate is currently only available on iPad.
Apple iPad
Because we utilize the pressure sensitivity of custom brushes, you’ll need to have an iPad that supports pressure sensitivity. A list of iPads that offer this are available here.
An iPad Stylus
Because we’re utilizing pressure sensitivity in the artwork we create, you’ll need a stylus that is compatible with your iPad. I recommend the Apple Pencil, but many 3rd party styluses may also work.
These brushes were designed specifically for use in Procreate (not Illustrator, or Photoshop), so they are only compatible with Procreate. An Apple Pencil was used to create and test all of the brushes. For this reason, I’m unable to guarantee the same results with other 3rd party styluses.
